Bio

I am an artist/technologist/researcher, working in the intersection of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Interactive Arts, and Music. The computational approaches in my research have been integrated into interactive artworks, musical and audiovisual performances; which have reached a global audience in seventeen countries on five continents.

I am currently an Associate Professor at Data Science and AI division, Computer Science and Engineering Department, at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden; and a WASP-HS fellow. I now accepted a new position of Full Professorship in Digital Art (with emphasis on AI and Co-Creativity) at University of Arts Helsinki in Finland, starting from December 2026. The position is also a PI position at ELLIS Institute Finland located at Aalto University.
